Liz's Dreamy Maternity Session

A little over two years ago Liz reached out to me inquiring about taking her maternity photos. At this moment in time I was a young photographer just getting my feet underneath me. I’m so grateful she put this type of faith & trust in me to capture her special moment of welcoming her first child. We did a golden hour beach session and it was magical.

Fast forward to now. I was ecstatic when Liz reached out again, this time asking if I could capture some maternity photos for her second child. She sent me some inspirational photos she had seen of a beautiful mama to be in a flowy gown, twirling around in an open field. I thought long and hard about a perfect location. A few places came to mind, but I really wanted somewhere spectacular for her family.

I chose the Robert Ward Nature Preserve, located in Fullerton. It was absolutely gorgeous. The hill sides were covered with wild flowers, tall grasses and cactus. I just knew this was the perfect spot for our maternity shoot. Liz and her family just made this shoot so amazing. We had so much fun keeping her one and a half year old son entertained.
